In an already inspiring line-up, Infosecurity Europe, Europe’s number one information security event, is delighted to announce that renowned broadcaster and author Kate Adie will be delivering the opening Keynote at this year’s event on Tuesday 4 June (10.15-11.05am).

NTT Security, the specialised security company, has launched its 2019 Global Threat Intelligence Report (GTIR), which reveals finance as the most attacked sector in EMEA, accounting for 30% of all attacks – compared to 17% globally. It knocks business and professional services off the top spot, which was last year’s most attacked sector at 20%.

KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced a new, complimentary tool aimed to gauge how many employees will reply to a phishing email called the Phishing Reply Test (PRT).

Effective incident response requires planning and the bringing together of multiple stakeholders who must work quickly and efficiently to deal with a security incident. With the fallout from high profile attacks like NonPetya and WannaCry suggesting that incident response planning is still falling short of where it should be, it will be one of the most hotly debated topics at this year’s Infosecurity Europe 2019, Europe’s number one information security event.

Australian web security expert Troy Hunt has been revealed as the latest industry luminary to be selected to join the Infosecurity Hall of Fame. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at Infosecurity Europe, Europe’s number one information security event.

A lack of skills is cited as the biggest challenge to recruiting cyber and information security talent by almost a third (30 per cent) of respondents to a social media poll conducted by Infosecurity Europe 2019 – Europe’s number one information security event.

According to a new social media poll by NTT Security, the specialised security company and centre of excellence in security for NTT Group, the majority (59 per cent) of respondents admit they are not confident their company could resume ‘business as usual’ after the first 24 hours, although 41 per cent say they are.
