Enlit Europe brings together innovators, disruptors, educators and thought leaders in the energy sector and associated industries including utilities, network operators, and system integrators. The event hopes to tell the stories of the people, projects and technologies driving modern transitions in the energy sector. With the goal of delivering clean, affordable and reliable energy for all, Enlit Europe aims to connect, inspire and evolve the industry.
We attended the event this year in Frankfurt representing our clients Wi-SUN Alliance and OpenADR Alliance. Along with meeting some of the most influential characters in the industry, we topped up our knowledge on the latest trends in IoT, smart utilities, smart cities, communications standards and more.
During our time at the event, we supported Wi-SUN Alliance and OpenADR Alliance on their stands, capturing images to put together photo collages for content to be used across social media including LinkedIn.
Whilst at the event, we spent some time on the Wi-Sun Alliance stand and used that time to interview a number of Wi-SUN Alliance members including Cisco, Exegin and Itron. We took this time to ask for comments on their predictions of 2023 trends and the wider context of their membership with Wi-SUN Alliance. Wi-SUN Alliance were also attending the show to showcase their Wi-SUN FAN through their interoperability demonstration.
Off the back of the event, we secured Wi-SUN Alliance a wealth of coverage in a number of high-profile publications including a quote from Wi-SUN Alliance President and CEO Phil Beecher in an article in the Industrial Ethernet Book.
We also spent time networking with fellow industry trailblazers OpenADR Alliance on their stand. Enlit Europe 2022 was a big event for OpenADR Alliance as it was where they announced their partnership with AMPECO, with a view to empowering global utilities and charge point operators in unlocking energy flexibility opportunities. Off the back of this announcement, we secured OpenADR Alliance some high-profile press coverage speaking about this new partnership, including this article in BDaily News.
Overall, Enlit Europe 2022 was a great event bringing together the very best in the energy transition sector. A 2-day event full of insightful talks, meaningful networking and lots of interesting ideas being discussed, it was definitely worth the trip.
