Enlit Europe is an end-to-end forum looking to address the global energy agenda. Enlit Europe 2023 was held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France, and brought together over 12,000 like-minded people with a shared drive to deliver clean, affordable and reliable energy for all.
The goal of Enlit Europe is to connect industries, inspire action and help Europe evolve into one decarbonised and digitalised energy system for the energy transition. This was facilitated through a number of insightful talks, thought-provoking demos, and countless networking opportunities (helped by a number of excellent croissants…)
We attended Enlit Europe 2023 to support our clients Wi-SUN Alliance and OpenADR Alliance, who were exhibiting, as well as to meet others operating within the industry.
There were a number of well-accredited speakers at the event, with highlights including:
- Giorgia Arnaboldi, Vice President B2B Markets Europe, Shell Energy who spoke on a panel about ‘EU’s electricity market reforms, the key elements and how they will affect the market’.
- Yara Chakhtoura, President, Siemens Energy SAS who spoke on a panel discussing ‘North Sea Energy Strategies’.
- Alan Cortizo, VP Sales – Europe, Mitsubishi Power who delivered a talk on ‘Hydrogen for Long Duration Energy Storage and grid balancing services’.
- Rebecca Dibb-Simkin, Chief Marketing & Product Officer, Octopus Energy Group, who delivered a presentation and spoke on two panels. One of which was particularly interesting, discussing ‘Energy Poverty: How suppliers can help vulnerable customers’.
Enlit Europe 2023 offered a live platform where projects could be presented at the EU Projects Zone. Topics covered at this year’s EU Projects Zone included:

Innovation was at the heart of Enlit Europe 2023, and the Innovators Zone helped to recognise the vital role that start-ups, scale-ups, and entrepreneurs have in helping to push forward the energy transition. Bringing new ideas, fresh perspectives and notable solutions to the fore, the Innovators Zone created opportunities for innovative ventures to engage with each other and share their ideas and solutions with the energy transition community.
We had a great time attending Enlit Europe 2023, supporting our clients and meeting some incredible thought-leaders in the energy transition. We cannot wait for Enlit Europe 2024.
