Infosecurity Europe 2022

Infosecurity Europe is Europe’s most influential information security event, bringing together the finest minds to deliver expertise, knowledge and networking opportunities for all working in the field. Infosecurity Europe 2022 is back after a 2 year online-only hiatus, and the event has moved to its exciting new home in the ExCeL London.

Here at Origin Comms, we have been working hard behind the scenes to deliver the event’s PR and digital messaging strategy. Our goal is to effectively showcase the outstanding range of speakers and exhibitors to all members of the cybersecurity community.

Recent government statistics show that 39% of UK businesses reported a security breach in the past year, highlighting why having the most up-to-date knowledge is crucial and there is no better place to learn new skills and ensure that your security strategy is up to date than Infosecurity Europe 2022. With a host of industry-leading professionals already announced, and new speakers being regularly confirmed on the line-up, the event promises to be unmissable.

The event is a fantastic opportunity for networking and knowledge development within the industry. As Infosecurity Europe’s PR agency, our role has been to outline the importance of the event as a cornerstone conference in the cybersecurity calendar. Through a wide array of strategies including features in industry media outlets, social media promotions and the creation of crucial supporting statistical content, we have raised awareness for the event.

Some of the biggest names this year include:

M.G. Tom Copinger-Symes, Director of Strategy and Military Digitalisation, UK Strategic Command

Responsible for accelerating Defence’s Digital Transformation, Tom has spent the last 10 years focusing on how the Army and Defence can make better use of its data and information.

On day one of Infosecurity Europe 2022, Tom will be delivering a talk on the Keynote Stage about “Tackling the Uncertain Future of Security Threats”. The talk promises to help change the landscape to anticipate, prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from risks.

Baroness Eliza Manningham-Buller, Former Head of MI5

After 20 years as the leader of two iconic organisations – MI5 and the Wellcome Trust – Baroness Manningham-Buller has led these organisations through highly pressurised times, from counter terrorism to pandemics.

On day two of Infosecurity Europe 2022, she will be speaking on the Keynote Stage about “Leadership in an Age of Uncertainty”. Her presentation will cover organisational and personal resilience, as well as responsiveness to threats.

The excitement doesn’t end when the events at the ExCeL do. On Wednesday 22nd June, Origin Comms are proud to be sponsoring the Cyber House Party (CHP) after-party extravaganza. With live DJ’s, a free bar and canapes on arrival, the volunteer-led, not-for-profit charity event promises to be an unmissable affair. 100% of donations received will go directly to the Infosec charities of choice, which are the NSPCC’s Childline and the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal (ICRC).

After a 2 year break from live shows, Infosecurity Europe 2022 is set to be an innovative, thought-provoking event that anyone in the Information Security Industry won’t want to miss.
