National Cyber Security Centre Returns to Infosecurity Europe to Discuss Vision for UK Cybersecurity Defence

Plus a host of additional activities lined up for this year’s event

Infosecurity Europe – Europe’s number one information security event – is proud to announce that it shall once again bring the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to the keynote stage to discuss ‘Defending the UK: The NCSC Vision for a more Secure UK’. 

NCSC will be joining Kate Adie, the BBC’s former Chief News Correspondent, Jamie Bartlett, Senior Fellow and former Director of Demos and Dame Inga Beale, Former CEO, Lloyds of London. Along with the keynote slot, which takes place on day three of the event on Thursday 6th Jun from 10:15 – 11:05, the NCSC will have an ongoing presence at the event on stand C130 sharing insight into the Government’s strategy to make the UK one of the safest places in the world to live and work online.

ThreatMark Anti-Fraud Suite Live Demo – Stand Y129 – 4th June: 11:00am-11:30am
ThreatMark will provide an overview of its Anti-Fraud Suite for Online Channels with a focus on the User Interface and the AFS Rule Engine. They will demonstrate how to leverage ThreatMark`s detection capabilities to have a clear risk assessment of online channels, and how to combine static rules with Deep Behavioural Profiling.

WatchGuard – Live Demo: The 6 known Wi-Fi threats categories and how to defend against them – Stand E140 – 4th June: 12:45pm-1:05pm
WatchGuard’s live demo will include: Overview of secure Wi-Fi connectivity; wireless breach costs for businesses; LIVE rogue access point demo; Live demo of Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (WIPS) as a secure Wi-Fi solution.

Live Security Pentest: Exploring the Limitations of 802.1x and Beyond – Stand D90 – 4th June: 2:00pm-4:00pm
Join Forescout Technologies for an interactive workshop that will take attendees beyond the use of their 802.1x authentication and show an easy way to achieve device visibility and control over their network.

Why Hack When You Can Phish? – KnowBe4 – Stand E140 – 4th June: 1:45pm-2:05pm
This session will cover the dangers of social engineering; tactics used in social engineering attacks; examples of mass phish attacks, spear phishing and Vishing; how to protect end users better with effective training and testing.

FireMon – Stand M125 – 4th Jun: 3:00pm-4:00pm
Join FireMon to enjoy drinks and light refreshments whilst discussing the challenges of securing the hybrid cloud environment. They will also be showcasing FireMon’s Lumeta Cloud Visibility.

Keynote Briefing: The Power of People: Amplifying our Human Capacity Through Technology & Community – Keynote Stage – 5th Jun: 08:15am – 09:30am
Corporate Vice President of the Cybersecurity Solutions Group at Microsoft will be presenting on ‘The Power of People’ and discussing how the industry can empower people through AI, Machine Learning and automation and foster more inclusive cyber communities to address the shortfall in skills.
